Christina has worked as a counselor for fifteen years. She received a Master's degree in counseling and guidance from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2004. She also has a bachelor's degree in music education from Evangel University in Springfield, Missouri, and loves being a musician in addition to her counseling career. She started a private practice in 2005, and has been a Licensed Professional Counselor in Missouri ever since.
Christina has extensive experience working with clients' depression, life direction, and relationship issues. She also specializes in working with victims of crime and trauma, and regularly interfaces with local churches and law enforcement agencies in her work. She is a contract therapist with Midwest Ministry Development, an organization that supports ministers in every facet of their ministry.
Christina helps others become more satisfied with life primarily through deepening their sense of self-awareness and gaining more balance. She is a client-centered counselor with a solution focused, positive approach to therapy, and she believes that people can develop the strength to solve most of their problems. Christina maintains a sense of balance and fulfillment in her own life through travel, music, yoga, meditation, and outdoor activities such as kayaking, camping and hiking.
